It’s standard flag procedure to display it as if it’s flying in the wind. That’s why on certain uniforms it appears reversed on the right shoulder.

But even more than that, for $75k that would be a serious cheapout on GM’s part. Like finding a Ford cupholder in your Aston.

It’s not GM that did the primer-gray paint and flag stuff. It’s SCA Performance . Their package is another $25k above a stock Silverado LT Crew Cab. This already has our aftermarket leather in it - installed by SCA.

Technically it’s a $50k truck with $25k worth of aftermarket lift/wheels/tires/exhaust/interior/bedliner/paint before it got to us for a sunroof.

Truck people are very particular about sunroofs. They are optional on even the Denali. I actually kind of wish I hadn’t gotten it because the lower ceiling height makes it harder to fit with a hard hat on.

The flag is reversed in the style of the US military. The have the flag going forward into battle on their uniforms to signify they never retreat.

I think you are misunderstanding my confusion. I know why reversed flags exist. I confused as to why reversed flags make Bob Seger cry.

Also, the reversed flag shown is incorrectly displayed. When a flag is horizontal the union should be to the upper left, unless the direction of travel is to be indicated. That’s a backpack. No direction indicated.
